Filming for Avengers 4 Has Begun

It has just been announced that the Russo brothers have officially started filming Avengers 4, the still untitled sequel to Infinity War which will come out next year. It was confirmed in April that Avengers 3 & Avengers 4 would no longer be shot at the same time and that part 4 would start filming in August, so the studio seems to be right on schedule.

“These two movies are intended to be the culmination of everything that has happened in the (Marvel Cinematic Universe) since the very first Iron Man movie,” said Anthony Russo, a little over a year ago. “In being a culmination, these movies are in some ways going to be an end to certain things, and in some ways, they’re going to be the beginning of certain things.”

The Russo Brothers’ official Facebook page confirmed the start of filming by posting a picture with the caption “beginning the end”, which can be seen below:

Those of us who weren’t lucky enough to be at #SDCC are still waiting for the release of The Avengers: Infinity War trailer (that is apparently everything we could ever wish for should for) and while it is unclear of exactly when that will be, considering the fact that the plan is to release it in May of next year, we should be getting it soon. Hopefully.
