Danielle Panabaker Discusses What’s Next for Caitlin, Killer Frost in ‘The Flash’ Season Four
One of the questions The Flash fans have asked most about season four is who will Caitlin be?
At the end of season three, Caitlin Snow had to reconcile that Killer Frost would always be a part of her. She left Team Flash so she could take some time to deal with her identity crisis.
At San Diego Comic-Con, actress Danielle Panabaker told comicbook.com what she sees ahead for her two characters
“What I can say is that fans who love Caitlin Snow won’t be disappointed and fans who love Killer Frost won’t be disappointed,” said Panabaker.
She also discussed the one aspect of Killer Frost that she would like to see explored more.
“One of the things I wanted explained last season that I don’t know was ever totally clear, and I don’t know that we have the answer yet, is why Killer Frost is evil,” she said. “I’m not totally sure why everything she does causes the physical body of Caitlin Snow to act so badly. So I’d like to know a little bit more about her motivation and why.”

Panabaker feels that Caitlin’s identity turmoil is what has led to her relationship troubles.
“I think that part of the reason last year that she wasn’t ready to jump into a relationship with Julian is she was still dealing and coping with everything that was going on with her and I think she still has some stuff to figure out,” she said.
It has already been announced that Tom Felton will not return as a series regular for season four, so it appears Caitlin’s burgeoning romance with Julian is over for now.
The Flash returns with new episodes Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 8 pm on The CW.
