Olivia Munn Jokes About Her Return in ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’
We haven’t heard or seen much from Fox’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix since they started production on the movie. The last big scoop we got was Tye Sheridan’s Cylcops sporting a brand new visor for the follow-up to his big debut as young Scott Summers in X-Men: Apocalypse.
With that being said, Olivia Munn thinks its funny to play with my and every other X-Men fan’s emotions by joking about her return as Psylocke in Dark Phoenix. When MTV News caught up with her at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, she had this to say about her possible return as an on-screen mutant:
“I was asked what I can say, and I can’t remember. I’m supposed to say things, I’ll just repeat to you what was said to me in the text. It was: ‘be vague.”
What kind of mess is that?! Now usually fans would be able to take a response like this and run, as most times when an actor responds like this, they’re usually involved in the film in some way. When MTV brought this up to her, Munn responded with this:
“That is a great assumption, but I’m being vague.”
Talk about being vague. Psylocke was seen at the end of Apocalypse running off after being defeated by the X-Men. Munn put in a lot of practice time for her stunts and was an amazing action piece in the movie a Psylocke. It’d be interesting to see her return in Dark Phoenix as Psylocke; hopefully this time with her telepathic powers as well to face off against the Phoenix.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters November 2, 2018!
