Keith David Joins ‘New Warriors’ In a Recurring Role
Marvel’s ‘New Warriors’ cast keeps growing, this time adding an industry vet in a recurring role.
The actor is none other than Keith David, better known for his work in the tv show Enlisted, as well as his part in Platoon, Crash, The Thing, Adventure Time, Rick and Morty, Mass Effect, Coraline, Spawn and Gargoyles.
The Hollywood Reporter claims David’s role in New Warriors will be the one of Ernest Vigman, “a caustic municipal employee who butts up against the hopeful energy of the new warriors”.
New Warriors will focus on the lives of six young heroes that are learning how to handle their abilities in “a world where bad guys can be as terrifying as bad dates”.
This show will be Marvel’s first live-action scripted comedy with only ten episodes, counting with Milana Vayntrub as Squirrel Girl, Derek Theler as Mister Immortal, Jeremy Tardy as Night Thrasher, Calum Worthy as Speedball, Matthew Moy as Microbe and Kate Comer as Debrii.
What do you think about this news? How important do you think Keith David’s role will be?
