Crunchyroll Announces Plans To Create Their Own Original Anime Series

Crunchyroll has gained its reputation as one of the most popular anime streaming sites in the world.

Nerdist reports today that Crunchyroll has announced that they will be co-creating their own original anime series.

In partnership with NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan, Crunchy roll is set “to create and co-develop new anime series.”  NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan, formerly known as Geneon Entertainment, is best known for shows BerserkSeven Mortal Sins, and Drifters.

What is not announced, however, is who will be producing the series. Comicbook.com reports that according to Crunchyroll, “the titles will be aiming for “international appeal”.
