Jimmy Smits Will Appear in ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ Season Four
Shondaland has added another TV superstar to its stable with the announcement that Jimmy Smits will join the fourth season of How to Get Away with Murder in a guest arc.
Smits will portray a “prominent figure from Annalise’s (Viola Davis) life.” He will also play a big part in this year’s big mystery.

Like always the case of the season is being kept under wraps, but there is speculation that it will reveal why Laurel’s father had Wes killed.
Smits most recently starred in 24: Legacy and The Get Down.
Star Wars fans know him best as Bail Organa, Princess Leia’s father.
ABC hasn’t announced when How to Get Away with Murder will return, but it’s highly unlikely the network will split up its popular TGIT Thursday night Shondaland block.
