Marvel fans know a project isn’t truly complete until Stan Lee makes an appearance.

The upcoming Netflix series The Defenders has taken this a step further by having the comic book legend narrate the newest international trailer.

Lee rides through the city describing the appeal of heroes, while reports of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Danny Rand and Luke Cage pop up. Scenes from the series’ action are also interspersed with his inspiring dialogue.

Marvel has upped the ante of its end credits scenes by including one in the trailer. The closing moment of the video features Frank Castle showing up and saying “Looks like I got here just in time.”

It’s not clear whether this means The Punisher will be in The Defenders or if it’s just a promo for his upcoming standalone series.

Starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Finn Jones as Danny Rand and Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Marvel’s The Defenders premieres all eight episodes on Netflix Aug. 18.
