‘Silver & Black’ Film to Include Many More Marvel Characters
The upcoming Sony Spider-Man spinoff film, Silver & Black, has announced a few more names to their lively cast of characters. Although it’s been stated by Kevin Feige that the film will stand separately from the MCU, an announcement involving the inclusion of Scorpion and other villains to Silver & Black has raised the question once again.
Nothing major has been revealed in regards to the film other than it will centralize around anti-heroes Black Cat and Silver Sable, and will feature Gina Prince-Bythewood in the directors chair. There has been no news surrounding the plot, but with San Diego Comic-Con coming up this weekend, we’re hoping Marvel will allude to more news about the film, which will begin shooting this Fall.
According to a report by The Hashtag Show, there’s a whole batch of characters coming to Silver & Black. It seems that Silver Sable will be gaining some government assistance while hunting down Felicia Hardy, AKA Black Cat, thanks to Dominic Fortune, a mercenary from the comics being reinvented as a Department of Justice agent.
Another Department of Justice agent joining in on the fun will be Mark Sim, a new Inhuman and member of The Warriors.
The next announced duo of agents assisting Sable will be Powell and Klein, two members of the mercenary’s Wild Pack from the comics, who will also be remade as government operatives.
The roster for Silver & Black already seems jam packed, but nothing is stopping them from revealing more once production begins. Be on the lookout this weekend for any more details on the spinoff and let us know if you’re excited to see more obscure Marvel heroes showing up on the big screen.
