Mark Ruffalo Teases a ‘Huge Change’ for Hulk That Spans Three Movies

Mark Ruffalo recently spoke to Variety at the D23 Expo warning us that we shouldn’t expect a Hulk solo movie because “It’ll never happen”. He goes on to explain the issue being that Universal have the rights for a stand-alone Hulk movie, “and for some reason they don’t know how to play well with Marvel” whilst joking that “they don’t want to make money”.

However, in the meantime we can look forward to a significant arc for Bruce Banner/Hulk starting in Thor: Ragnarok and spilling over into Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. Fandango spoke to Mark Ruffalo at the D23 Expo in California and here’s what he said:

“There’s a huge change for Hulk and for Banner and it isn’t resolved in the first Infinity War, it sort of culminates into the second Infinity War, there’s a lot of surprises.Thor 3 is the beginning of a lot of changes for Banner and Hulk.”

There are no specific details as to what these changes may be though it is speculated it could be related to Thor and Hulk’s face-off in the Colosseum that is seen in the Thor: Ragnarok trailer.

Are you excited to see the changes they have in store for Hulk? What do you think they’ll be?
