This Just In: Jodie Whittaker is the 13th Doctor on Next Season of ‘Doctor Who’
Fans have been patiently awaiting the announcement of the thirteenth time lord and now we finally have it! Jodie Whittaker will take up the ‘doctor’ moniker, replacing Peter Capaldi for the new season of Doctor Who.
The announcement was made after the men’s Wimbledon final and it’s exciting that after so many years, the television series finally has a woman taking up the mantle. Check out the promo video released from BBC One below:

Back in February, current doctor Capaldi voiced his interest in the first female time lord to The Mirror. So, Capaldi got his wish for the first female doctor!
