Our favorite arcade villain with smashing arms and a heart of gold is back to save the day, or rather break the internet. At the panel on Friday July 14 at D23, plot details for the film have been revealed along with other very thrilling news.
In the sequel, our arcade heroes Ralph and Vanellope must go into the Internet to find a spare part in order to fix Sugar Rush, Vanellope’s game, which has broken down. If the first movie was any indication as to what happens to broken games, they’ll want to quickly fix it up.
John C. O’Reilly and Sarah Silverman will be reprising their roles as Ralph and Vanellope respectively. And during their excursion into the internet, they’ll meet some exciting characters. For starters, they run across newcomer Yesss who is an expert on viral parts and will be voiced by none other than Taraji P. Henson.
Additionally, Ralph and Vanellope’s adventures will take them straight to a Disney princess reunion. Viewers will get to see their favorite Disney princesses all in one place, an impressive and massive scene to look forward to. The royal cast will include Mulan from Mulan (Ming Na Wen), Elsa from Frozen (Idina Menzel), Anna from Frozen (Kristen Bell), Ariel from The Little Mermaid (Jodi Benson), Belle from Beauty and the Beast (Paige O’Hara), Jasmine from Aladdin (Linda Larkin), Tiana from Princess and the Frog (Anika Noni Rose), Rapunzel from Tangled (Mandy Moore), Merida from Brave (Kelly MacDonald), and newcomer Moana from Moana (Auli’i Cravalho).
The movie breaks into theaters on Novemver 21, 2018.
