Disney’s annual D23 Convention in Anaheim, CA has officially kicked off and now we’ve been greeted with a preview of Disneyland and Disney World’s upcoming Star Wars Land.
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek was there to reveal the first official large-scare model of the galactic changes to the resorts. At the panel, guests were able to get a first look into what new attractions are coming to the magic kingdoms.
Much of the new land is based on Mos Eisley Cantina on the planet Tatooine where we first meet Han Solo in episode IV. In fact, the new land will include and feature the Millenium Falcon, much to many fans’ excitement. It’ll be exciting for fans new and returning to roam around this unexplored planet.
And soon, in 2019, you’ll be able to visit Star Wars Land in a galaxy (not so) far away.
Are you excited for the new Star Wars Land? What are you most hoping to see? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
