Doctor Who: 13th Doctor to be Announced This Sunday
Great news whovians! It looks like we will soon find out who the Thirteenth Doctor is going to be.
The BBC just announced through the official Twitter account of Doctor Who that the identity of the Thirteenth Doctor will be revealed this Sunday, the 16th, after the the Wimbledon Men’s Final tennis match.
Peter Capaldi, the current Doctor and the twelfth incarnation of the character, will have his last appearance in this year’s Christmas Special.
Since it was announced that this season will be Capaldi’s last season, rumours about who the next incarnation will be have been circling all through the internet, naming people like Kris Marshall (Love Actually), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Richard Madden (Game of Thrones), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Ben Whishaw (Skyfall), Olivia Colman (The Night Manager), Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) among others, as potential actors for the role.
