‘Game of Thrones’: Kit Harington Reveals He Filmed 15 Hours of Fake Scenes to Throw the Paparazzi Off
Game of Thrones is one of the biggest shows in the word, in fact for some perspective; the only country that it doesn’t air in is North Korea. Even then, I bet at least Kim and his mates bootleg it. However, being so successful does come with its drawbacks and one of those is the increased difficulty of keeping the storyline a secret before, during and after filming.
According to Kit Harington, for the latest season, showrunners came up with a pretty elaborate way to trick the public who scour for spoilers and the paparazzi who follow the cast around the world as they shoot their scenes. They filmed several fake scenes that the paparazzi took pictures of. During filming, on-set pictures were constantly leaked potentially spoiling a few reveals but this will have everyone questioning which ones were real and which ones were fake. It’s back to the drawing board for the plot predictors.
Kit claims he personally filmed three fake scenes which were each five hours long. That’s a lot of effort on scenes we may never see. I hope they get add them onto the DVD release at the end of the season if they exist at all.

Do you think Kit is telling the truth or is he pulling a double bluff?
Game of Thrones Season 7 airs on HBO and Sky Atlantic on July 17th, 2017
