Jensen Ackles is Back in British Columbia for ‘Supernatural’ Season 13
Team Free Will is back on track. As Supernatural season 13 date premiere comes closer each day and with Comic-Con just around the corner, is time to get back to work once more.
Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester in Supernatural) has posted in his social media accounts (Twitter and Instagram) that he’s back in British Columbia, Canada, and preparing himself to say farewell to his “hiatus beard”, because hunters and beards don’t mix (except for Bobby, but he’s the exception to the rule).
But he’s not the only one preparing for this new season, as executive producer Jim Michaels shared in his Twitter account the first look at Baby (the ’67 Chevrolet Impala):
For this new season, there are a few surprises for the Winchester’s as well as the audience, such as:
The fact that, despite what happened in the season 12 finale, Castiel indeed has a future. This was confirmed in a tweet by Castiel’s actor, Misha Collins:
Mark Sheppard won’t return for it.
There’s going to be a fully animated Scooby-Doo crossover episode. (Yes, this is really happening). So far, the episode only includes Scooby-Doo, no word on the rest of the Scooby Gang and is expected to air somewhere during season 13.
And Wayward Sisters will get a backdoor pilot. The show will have its lead with fan-favourite Sheriff Jody Mills played by Kim Rhodes and will tell the story of how Mills and a group of troubled young women become hunters after they’ve been orphaned by supernatural tragedy. No word on when this episode will air, only that it will happen during this new season.
What do you think about this news? Are you excited for Supernatural season 13?
