‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Rakes in $50.5 Million on Friday
With the numbers in for the Thursday previews, as well as the money made on its opening night, Spider-Man: Homecoming is already looking like a box office smash.
On Thursday night, the web slinger pulled in $15.4 million which was added to the total it made on Friday, equaling $50.5 million. This means the latest Spidey film has a projected opening weekend of $120 million, but could rake in even more.
The movie has been met with positive criticism and is currently ‘Certified Fresh’ on Rotten Tomatoes with a 94% rating from critic reviews and a 92% audience score.

Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige recently said that Peter Parker’s storyline in the MCU will be five films long and began with Spider-Man’s entry into the MCU in Captain America: Civil War. So, for all of you Peter Parker fans, there’s plenty more Spider-Man to come.
The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Laura Harrier, Jacob Batalon, Donald Glover, Robert Downey Jr. and Marisa Tomei.
