Swan Lake Starring Felicity Jones Lands at Universal
Universa has won the bidding war for Swan Lake. Felicity Jones is set to star in Luca Guadagnino’s untitled film inspired by the Swan Lake ballet.

Guadagnino has been making a name for himself, there is great anticipation for his latest feature Call Me By Your Name, and his remake of Suspira. Kristina Lauren Anderson wrote the pitch and her Catherine the Great script was number #1 on the 2014 Black List.
Swan Lake follows Princess Odette, who get’s turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer. Jones is most likely going to play the cursed princess in this adaptation. Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan was inspired by the story, but did not follow the original story. This version will be faithful to the story, minus the ballet, and will be a tentpole film.
