Well would you look at the little engine that could! The Power Rangers movie’s home video sales has taken the franchise to another level. We reported that toys, dvds and blu-ray sales would push the studio to going through with the sequel after not dominating the box office as they hoped. Now, it seems like every mighty morphin’ fan’s dream may become a reality with this new report.
Lionsgate’s teenagers with attitude dethroned John Wick: Chapter 2 and Beauty and the Beast this past weekend in home movie sales as well as taking the top spot in weekly rentals, knocking Hugh Jackman’s Logan down a peg. I mean, not many people can say they knocked Logan down and lived to tell the tale. Hopefully this locks in a sequel or two for the franchise in the near future
