Doomfist Finally Arrives To Overwatch
“Humanity has always been tested.”
The introduction to Overwatch‘s newest origins trailer starts with who can be presumed is the voice of the much-anticipated Doomfist.
In the newest trailer, we finally get a glimpse of the long-awaited Talon leader. We also see some of the familiar characters we have played and loved. Genji, Winston, and Tracer all fight in Numbani against Doomfist. And just as the rumors and lore have built up to this point, Doomfist is a worthy and incredibly strong opponent against the three heroes in the trailer.

The Overwatch Twitter had previously teased and announced Doomfist’s arrival. And now we have received his origin story. The trailer closes with a poignant message from the Talon leader:
“Those who fall, will be forgotten. Those who rise up, their names will be remembered forever.”
And as of today, Doomfist is a playable character in PTR (Public Test Region). According to the Overwatch page, the newest hero is described as “a highly-mobile, powerful frontline fighter.” Additionally, he can deal ranged damage with his Hand Cannon. Doomfist can also “slam the ground, knock enemies into the air and off balance, or charge into the fray with his Rocket Punch.” And when face-to-face with a tight group, he “leaps out of view, then crashes down to earth with a spectacular Meteor Strike.”
