Scarlet Johansson Recalls Devastating Moment on ‘Infinity War’ Set

Production for Marvel Studios tentpole film Avengers: Infinity War is currently at the ladder part of filming as many of the main actors will be wrapping up their portion of the blockbuster. Scarlet Johansson who plays Black Widow has officially wrapped on set and during an interview with Inside The Actor’s Studio she shares some vague details about the film’s story and a moment that devastated her on set.

Check out her comment below:

“I just finished Avengers: Infinity War, the first one. My character has this ongoing relationship with Mark Ruffalo’s character and I had such devastation that day. I don’t know why. I was so devastated and it was something about this character that Mark plays, and this something that should feel so solid and then suddenly doesn’t, or there’s… and then it reminded me of so much of the things going on in my own life at the time.”

During Avengers: Age of Ultron Black Widow and Hulk seemed to have developed a budding romance, although subtle their connection was expounded upon in moments throughout that film with Black Widow being the only one able to calm Hulk down enough for him to return to his human form. But then Hulk left without saying goodbye and will now have a more cosmic adventure as we’ve seen in the trailer for Thor: Ragnarok.

We won’t know what this “devastating moment” entails until the film is finally released but it sounds like their relationship will go a little deeper but giving Johansson’s verbage, it doesn’t seem like it will end well. What do you think this devastating moment with Hulk and Black Widow will be? Let us know in the comments below.
