Ever since that first trailer, fans have been dying for more news regarding the upcoming film from this iconic saga, a trailer, leaked footage, synopsis, anything…

Thankfully, we’ve been getting some promotional and behind-the-scenes photos as well as some rumours to help with the waiting, but it seems like our wait for something more might be over, but not like we want it to be.

Recently, it was reported that Star Wars: The Last Jedi will not have a panel at San Diego Comic-Con International this year, having only presence at the Convention’s floor. Instead, the next instalment its listed to appear at D23 Expo.

D23 is just a few days away, so the buzz surrounding the convention it’s at the top, with rumours of a possible trailer going through the internet. However, according to Steven Weintraub, editor-in-chief from Collider, we might not get a trailer, but instead some behind-the-scenes footage.

This is not surprise, since previous years Lucasfilm has released BTS footage for Star Wars: The Force Awakens (at SDCC) and Rogue One: A Star Wars (at Celebration) exactly in July.

For now, this information is not official, and the only thing left to do is wait for D23 and see what Lucasfilm has to offer us at their panel, since Star Wars: The Last Jedi is not the only film the studio is promoting at the convention.

What do you think of this news? Are you excited for the BTS or were you expecting a trailer?
