Fans and attendees of the much-anticipated film, A Wrinkle in Time, will get a wonderful treat during D23–the film’s first trailer.
Screenrant reports that the film adaptation, which is based on the best-selling 1963 novel by Madeleine L’Engle, will release its first teaser trailer during D23 in Anaheim, California.
The film’s director, Selma and 13th’s Ava DuVernay, confirms the new herself via Twitter. DuVernay is the first African American woman that will direct a $100M live action film.
A Wrinkle in Time recently wrapped production last March and is led by newcomer Storm Reid playing the lead role, with a star-studded supporting cast such as Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Chris Pine, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Zach Galifianakis.
D23 takes will be from July 14 – 16 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
A Wrinkle in Time premieres March 9, 2018.
