Netflix Takes Over Hall H for SDCC
With its increased schedule of nerd fare and busy slate of 2017 programs, it’s no surprise that Netflix has big plans for San Diego Comic-Con International.
The streaming service has announced the lineup of original movies and TV series it’s presenting at the annual pop culture extravaganza.
Thursday, July 20 3:15 pm Hall H – Netflix Films

Writer/director David Ayer and star Will Smith will show off fantasy movie Bright. Smith stars as a cop who works with an orc to solve a major crime with world-changing implications. They will be joined by co-stars Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry and Edgar Ramirez.
The cast and crew of Death Note will also premiere exclusive footage.
Friday, July 21 5:15 pm Hall H – Marvel’s The Defenders
This panel will offer fans a look at some new footage from the eight episode team up featuring Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny Rand/Iron Fist. Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb will be in attendance with Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Finn Jones and Mike Colter.
Also, if Marvel is going to surprise fans with a first look at The Punisher, this is the panel where that is most likely to happen.
