According to Variety, Kim and Park requested pay equality with their now-previous co-stars Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan. However, the negotiations with CBS Television were unsuccessful and the two are now exiting the show. It is believed that they were making 10-15% less than O’Loughlin and Caan.
Both Kim and Park have been a part of the cast for this show since its reboot in 2010 of the classic crime-fighting detective show that started in 1968.
Hawaii Five-0 is produced and aired on CBS Television.
