2019 Spider-Man Sequel Will Take Place Directly After Avengers 4

Spider-Man: Homecoming hasn’t even been released everywhere yet and we’re already getting news about its sequel. The early reviews for the film have been good so far and the franchise is on track for it’s projected trilogy. According to sources, the Spider-Man sequel which is set to premiere in 2019, will not only continue the storylines set in Homecoming, but also will pick up with whatever happens in Avengers 4 as it is expected to start off where Avengers 4 ends.

According to Amy Pascal who is the former chairperson of Sony Pictures, told Fandom that the sequel “will start a few minutes after Avengers 4 wraps as a story.”, much like Spider-Man: Homecoming picks up after the events of Captain America: Civil War.  Avengers: Infinity War will be released May 4th, 2018 and the still untitled Avengers 4 is set to be released on May 3rd, 2019, ahead of the Spider-Man sequel.
