Since his first appearance back in 2011, Miles Morales has been a fan favourite. Like Peter, he had been bitten by a spider and, after the death of Peter Parker, he took his place as Spiderman.

Since then, Miles has had appearances in both comics and cartoons, even having his own animated movie coming soon. Now, he’ll also have his own YA Novel, a story focused solely on him and his journey to become the man he is destined to be.

Writer Jason Reynolds, better known for When I Was the Greatest, Boy in the Black Suit and All-American Boys, will be in charge to publish Miles’s story, and it will be illustrated by Kadir Nelson.

This was announced at the Cup O Joe panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
