Tom Holland Wants Peter Parker to Mentor Miles Morales’s Spider-Man
We have exactly 11 days left until Tom Holland’s Spider-Man takes center stage on the big screen in Spider-Man: Homecoming. As anticipation grow for the film, so does Sony’s cinematic spidey-verse. Tom Hardy’s Venom movie reportedly begins filming in September and the Black Cat/Silver Sable movie now has a director, title (Silver and Black) and release date of October 2018.
Now we have Peter Parker himself hoping for the day his Spider-Man could interact with Miles Morales and mentor the young Spider-Man. Check out the quote Holland gave to ScreenRant when asked about his Spider-Man mentoring:
“That would be something that I would be very up for doing, it’s something that I would really really hope to happen. I think Miles Morales is a great character, I think it would be fantastic to have an actor of color playing a superhero on screen and I just think it’s going to be something very cool and something very exciting for this universe.”
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is a young one, as the MCU wanted to do what no other Spider-Man movie has done and go with a younger actor to take on the helm of everyone’s favorite web head. With that being said, it may be some time before fans see this, if ever, but there’s hope! Who knows, maybe we’ll see Tom Holland and RJ Cyler star alongside each other one day, I mean if both actors get their way we will.
