The X-Men Return to the Danger Room as First Image on Set Emerges

News on X-Men: Dark Phoenix has been coming at a nice pace for Fox’s second go at the Dark Phoenix saga. With Simon Kinberg directing, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult are all now confirmed to reprise their roles as Professor X, Mystique, Magneto and Beast respectively. Dazzler was just confirmed to make an appearance in Dark Phoenix as well. The story seemingly involves the Shi’ar Empire this time around with Jessica Chastain in talks to play Lilandra, leader of the Shi’ar Empire.

Now we’ve got the first leaked set photo from the movie showcasing the iconic Danger Room! Check out the photo below.

It looks like class is back in session for our favorite mutants. The last time we saw the Danger Room was in the last scene in X-Men: Apocalypse teasing the team in their comic book accurate uniforms as Sentinels (previously seen in X-Men: Days of Future Past) come out with guns blazing in a simulation to end the movie. This and the opening sequence of X-Men 3: The Last Stand have been the only times viewers got to witness the Danger Room in its full glory so its lit to see their using it again!

X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters November 2, 2018!
