Blackfilm reports today that Spiderman: Homecoming’s very own Laura Harrier will be starring opposite Michael B. Jordan in the upcoming film adaptation, Fahrenheit 451.
Harrier announced her casting during while promoting the Marvel film. Harrier will be joining a star-studded cast, such as Michael B. Jordan, Michael Shannon, Sofia Boutella, and YouTube star Lilly Singh.
Fahrenheit 451 will be based on Ray Bradbury’s classic novel of the same name. The film adaption will depict “a future where media is an opiate, history is outlawed, and “firemen” burn books.”
Harrier’s role will be Mildred “Millie” Montag, the wife of Michael B. Jordan’s Montag. Jordan’s role is of “the young fireman who forsakes his world battles his fire captain and mentor Beatty (Shannon), and struggles to regain his humanity.”
While there is no release date announced yet for Fahrenheit 451, Harrier can be seen first on Spiderman: Homecoming on July 7th.
