Sub-Zero DLC coming to ‘Injustice 2’ in July
The name Sub-Zero alone incites shivers down anyone’s spine, triggering memories of the ice-cold warrior’s terrifying fatalities. To the excitement of fans of fighting games, it has been announced that Sub-Zero will join the jam-packed roster of heroes in Injustice 2, sprinkling a little Mortal Kombat hospitality to the DCU.
The announcement was made earlier by a tweet from Ed Boon, co-creator of Mortal Kombat and Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios, the producer of both game franchises. Injustice 2 was released back in May, but the anticipation has been building for the release of extra characters to the roster. The three new fighters that were unveiled as a teaser were Starfire, Red Hood, and Sub-Zero.
