Peyton Reed, director of Ant-Man back in 2015, has teased in his Instagram account that an important announcement of Ant-Man and the Wasp is coming our way.
The post shows artwork from the of the original Ant-Man (Hank Pym) and Wasp (Janet Van Dyne) comics, with the caption: “Stay tuned”, #antmanandthewasp.
Since Disney-run D23 Expo and San Diego’s Comic-Con International are coming next month, and production is set to begin July 6, it’s easy to assume why Reed would tease an announcement.
Little is known about the Ant-Man sequel with only a few details here and there, like the confirmation of Michael Douglas presence in the film, the addition of Hannah John-Kamen (Black Mirror, Killjoys) to the cast and the hint that we might see Evangeline Lily in the Wasp suit. Meaning the announcement could be about almost anything.
We hope to soon find out what’s in store for us for Ant-Man and the Wasp.
