Coming soon to Netflix in July is The Incredible Jessica James.

Jessica Williams, a former correspondent from The Daily Show, has created a romantic-comedy that will begin streaming on Netflix next month.  Her quick wit and humor translates onto this movie that follows the love life and romantic endeavors of the titular character Jessica James.

It stars Williams alongside Bridesmaids’ Chris O’Dowd and Master of None‘s Noël Wells, and is directed by Jim Strouse.  Watch the trailer down below.

The humor is immediately evident as the trailer starts with James bluntly responding to her date, showing she knows what she wants.  The main character Jessica James is an aspiring playwright living in Brooklyn and pursuing love.  In the trailer, we catch a glimpse of the charming, goofy, and magnetic Jessica James who expresses her self-confidence, saying “I am pretty, I am smart, I am the cocoa queen.”
