Nabiyah Be Will Play Nightshade in ‘Black Panther’
Although it seems as if we’ve been waiting forever, especially since the epic teaser trailer for Black Panther dropped a few weeks ago. But now we have some new details revealed for the upcoming Marvel Studios film.
The movie is set to feature an appearance from Tilda Johnson a.k.a Nightshade. Actress/singer-songwriter Nabiyah Be took to her Twitter page to share the news; saying she had never kept something to herself for so long. Check out the tweet below:
Nightshade made her first appearance in Marvel Comics back in 1973 and has been a villain for both Black Panther and Captain America. She has an aptitude for biochemistry with a fondness for lycanthropy. Nightshade has a pack of wolves at her command in the comic books but it is not yet known how much of the character’s comic book origins will be seen in in the movie.
However, we do know from the image above that she is working with Killmonger who is played by Michael B. Jordan. It will be very interesting to see how it all plays out when the highly-anticipated film hits the big screen.
Black Panther claws his way into theaters on February 16, 2018.
