Michael Beach Revealed to Have a Role in DCEU’s ‘Aquaman’
After much speculation from social media, DCEU today confirms that Michael Beach will indeed be part of the upcoming DC film Aquaman.
According to Deadline, Beach will be playing Jesse Kane, a man “part of a group of high-seas hijackers who has a fateful interaction with Aquaman.” Reports of Beach being cast of the film started to take traction when Yahya Abdul-Mateen II tweeted a photo of the cast landing in New Zealand, with Beach present on the photo. Many fans believed that Beach’s role will be Black Manta’s father, but nothing has been confirmed or denied.
Michael Beach joins Jason Mamoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Ludi Lin, Dolph Lundgren, Temuera Morrison and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the cast, which has been in production this past May.
Aquaman will be released in December 2018.
