Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns Writing Treatment for ‘Wonder Woman’ Sequel
With the critical and financial success of Wonder Woman, it seems as though director, Patty Jenkins and President and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics, Geoff Johns have already begun writing the treatment for Wonder Woman 2.
During an interview with Variety, Johns said that he and Jenkins were already in the process of writing the follow-up and that the pair have a “cool idea” for Diana’s next adventure.
Johns said, “Patty and I are writing the treatment right now. The goal is to make another great “Wonder Woman” film. I had a blast making it with Patty the first time. We’ve got a cool idea for the second one.”

Jenkins has expressed interest in returning to direct a Wonder Woman sequel and even said she would want to bring Diana Prince to America if possible. It will be interesting to see if the treatment she and Johns are working on will see this happen; only time will tell.
