Marvel Founding Member Jack Kirby To Be Honored by Disney

In 1941, Jack Kirby brought Captain America to life alongside with Joe Simon.  After this character was brought to life, Kirby continued on to create comic books in the Western, Romance, and Monster genres.  And this all helped set up the beginning of his groundbreaking journey towards the creation of Marvel.  Throughout the following decade, Kirby worked with Stan Lee to fully bring forth the world of Marvel to the public.  Characters and universes like the Avengers, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Ant-Man, Wasp, Black Panther, S.H.I.E.L.D., and the Inhumans became fan favorites and surpassed generations.  He continued to work hard brining forth many more comics until he finally passed away in 1994.
