Last month it was announced that Tom Hardy would star in the upcoming Venom flick in the titular role and it’s now being reported that filming for the movie will start in September in Atlanta and New York.

Although it seems that the movie may not be connected with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems as though fans are excited to see Eddie Brock on the big screen once more.

In the original Spider-Man trilogy which starred Tobey Maguire in the role of Peter Parker, That 70s Show alum, Topher Grace played the villainous Symbiote.

Thus far, no other casting details or synopsis of the film have been released, but it will be helmed by Zombieland director, Ruben Fleischer.
