Inhumans Season 1 Has Wrapped Production

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has come a long way ever since Iron Man in 2008.

Since then, Marvel has presented us countless of characters that expand their universe, even meddling with magic and the Multiverse recently in Dr. Strange.

But not only theatres have expanded that Universe, tv shows have a great part on Marvel’s growth, with their contract with Netflix, ABC, Hulu and Freeform. Marvel claims everything is connected, but is yet to be proven in the big screen.

Nonetheless, Marvel is about to expand their Cinematic Universe once more through television, this time with Inhumans.

ABC ordered, not so long ago, an eight-episode first season for this group of superheroes, with the first two set to premiere on IMAX’s screens before airing on the small screen. The characters have been cast and now it’s revealed the first season has wrapped production.

According to the social media accounts of Iwan Rheon, Maximus, and Reel News Hawaii, the series’ first season has finished filming in Hawaii.

It’s not the first time Inhumans are mentioned in the MCU. Back in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season two, they were mentioned for the first time and ever since have played an important role in the show. Instead of making a show about Inhumans from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, ABC and Marvel decided to focus on the royal family known from the comics.

As of this moment, it is not known if Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Inhumans will interact or acknowledge the other, even though they are, supposedly, in the same Universe.

We don’t have a trailer yet, but hopefully we’ll get one next month in Comic-Con.
