Ubisoft started out their press conference this morning by confirming leaked rumors of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. The demo showcased gameplay, which seems to be XCOM-style, and is set in a chaotic mashup of the Mushroom Kingdom. Shigeru Miyamoto also made a surprise appearance, and confirmed that the game will be released August 29.

We also got to see new information about Assassin’s Creed Origins, showcasing some of the Egyptian settings from the game.

Afterwards, Ubisoft launched a trailer for The Crew 2. The teaser shows that you can race everything from cars and ATVs to planes and boats. There’s some brief gameplay footage, and signup for beta access is available now. The Crew 2 will come out in early 2018.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole also got a trailer, and a confirmed release date of October 17. In addition, South Park: Phone Destroyer was announced for mobile, and is coming later in 2017.

Next, Tranference, a VR game produced by Elijah Wood was announced for Spring 2018. The game appears to be a psychological horror game, though the trailer doesn’t offer many details about its story.

Skull and Bones, a new IP from Ubisoft, is a pirate game that borrows some of the naval combat elements from Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. The game allows you to sail on your own or form a crew with friends. It’s releasing Fall 2018.

Just Dance 2018 also got a trailer and quick dance number, and is being released this October.

Another new IP, Starlink: Battle for Atlas was announced on multiple platforms. Much like Skylanders, it appears to incorporate peripherals that snap onto your controller to play, utilizing weapons and ship upgrades.

Ubisoft also announced DLC for Steep, called Road to the Olympics. The expansion will be available December 5.

We also got more information about Far Cry 5, including characters and some gameplay mechanics. There appears to be a stealth mode available, and several characters you can align yourself with. In addition to co-op, the game’s host of characters includes Grace Armstrong, Nick Rye, and Boomer, a dog that plays fetch with guns.

Lastly, Ubisoft closed out with a surprise announcement for Beyond Good and Evil 2. This prequel takes place before Jade, and focuses on space colonization. Registration for the game’s tie-in “Space Monkey Program” is open now.
