A New Creature Might Appear in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

The Star Wars universe is known for never backing down on making complex and elaborated creatures and aliens, using stop-motion animated monsters in the original trilogy and CGI in the prequels, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi looks like is going to follow the original saga’s ways.

Fan site Star Wars News Net published last year an aerial shot of a massive, half-finished puppet under construction, and using newly disclosed images, the site reconstructed the creature.

Artist Eli Hyder drew his interpretation of the alien, using the reconstruction of Star Wars News Net.

According to the photos, the puppest is set to be about nine feet tall and four feet wide, but we don’t know for sure how big it’ll look on the movie. Its role is also unknown.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will premiere in theatres December 15th.
