New Black Panther Synopsis Revealed by Marvel Studios

Following the release of the first Black Panther poster and the news that the first teaser for the film would be released during tonight’s game four of the NBA Championships, Marvel Studios has released a new synopsis for the highly-anticipated film.

The new synopsis doesn’t differ much from what was shared in License! Global magazine. Directed by Ryan Coogler (Creed and Fruitvale Station) amd starring Chadwick Boseman Reprising his role from Captain America: Civil War as T’challa, here is the studio  but here is the studio’s official synopsis:

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther follows T’Challa (Boseman) who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

The film boasts a talented team of actors which includes Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Daniel Kaluuya and Florenca Kasumba. For the full list of Black Panther actors and their roles, check it out here.
