Marvel’s New Warriors Reported to Be Filmed in Atlanta
Earlier this year, Marvel ordered a New Warriors’ series on Freeform. While it’s unknown when the project will go into production, we have a hint of where the filming for the series might take place.
While Marvel Television hasn’t officially made a statement of where the location of New Warriors will be, a tweet from Atlanta Filming implies that the series will be the latest Marvel project to be filmed there.
Atlanta has become a recent hot-spot for Marvel Studios. Some of their latest movies like Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, and Spider-Man: Homecoming feature scenes that where shot there.
If this information shared by Atlanta Films turns out to be true, it will be the first significant update on the show’s status since the reveal of which characters will be part of the team.
New Warriors has no release date yet, but is expected to premiere in 2018 on Freeform alongside with Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger.
