Wonder Woman hit theaters late last week and garnered meteoric success. Domestically, its box office haul amounted to $100.5M over the weekend. The global total crossed the $228M mark, giving the $150M-budgeted film the highest earning opening weekend in history for a female director. Needless to say, the solo is expected to accumulate much more throughout its theatrical run.

The film’s successes don’t stop at the box office, though. To say it’s received universal praise is an understatement, as critics, fans, and celebrities (including those from the MCU) continue to laud its accomplishments. During this time, director Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot have offered many thanks on social media. Now Gadot has posted a video solely for the purpose of addressing the film’s success and thanking audiences who have flocked to theaters. Check it out below:

Similarly, Patty Jenkins did the same in a tweet earlier this week:

Now we await official sequel news, which is almost certain to involve an announcement of Patty Jenkins’ return. Until then, there’s Wonder Woman’s appearance in Justice League to look forward to on November 17.
