Hasan Minhaj Joins Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon in ‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’
Comedian Hasan Minhaj of The Daily Show or most recently his Netflix special Homecoming King has joined the upcoming comedy feature by Lionsgate The Spy Who Dumped Me. It will be co-written with David Iserson (Mr. Robot) and directed by Susanna Fogel, creator of Chasing Life. The star of Outlander Sam Heughan is reportedly in talks for the male lead.
The comedy will follow two friends Audrey (Kunis) and Morgan (McKinnon), who are caught up in an undercover mission after Audrey’s ex-boyfriend, on the run from a team of deadly assassins, shows up at their apartment. Hasan Minhaj is expected to play a CIA operative named Topher Duffer who is trying to track Audrey and Morgan down after they go on the run.
It looks like this comedy is shaping up with a stellar cast. What do you think? Are you excited for the Kunis-McKinnon-Minhaj team up?
