Film Based on Wonder Woman’s Creator Gets Teaser
With interest in Wonder Woman at an all time high, Annapurna Pictures is telling the story of her creator, Dr. William Moulton Marston, in the feature film Professor Marston & The Wonder Women.
The movie details the relationship between Marston, his wife Elizabeth, and domestic partner Olive Byrne, and how it led him to create Wonder Woman in 1941.
Luke Evans will star as Marston, with Rebecca Hall as Elizabeth and Bella Heathcoate as Olive. Connie Britton, Frank L. Ridley and Oliver Platt will co-star.
Director Angela Robinson (D.E.B.S., Herbie Fully Loaded) is making a return to feature films after working in television for the last 12 years.
An official release date for Professor Marston & The Wonder Women hasn’t been announced yet, but IMDB lists 2017 as its date.
In the meantime Wonder Woman, directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot as the iconic heroine, is currently playing in theaters.
