Childish Gambino Announces Next Album Will Likely Be His Last
Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover) played a show at the Governors Ball Music Festival last night. He ended his set with a performance of “Red Bone” before addressing the audience, hinting that his next album would be his last.
Gambino told the crowd, “You’re in my heart” and “I’ll see you for the last Gambino album.” Check out the tweet with the video below.

Last year, Gambino released his critically acclaimed album, “Awaken, My Love!” which debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart, making it the fourth best-selling album of the week.
Though it’s a sad day for fans of Glover’s music, we will at least get to see him takeover the big screen soon in Spider-Man: Homecoming this July and he’s set to portray a young Lando Calrissian in the 2018 unnamed Han Solo flick.
Glover will also lend his voice talents to the live-action Lion King remake as Simba and is also developing an animated Deadpool television series for FXX.
