With the latest news that Gina Prince-Bythewood would be directing a film based on Silver Sable and Black Cat, we’ve been anxiously awaiting any news on more to come. Of course, the rumor mill is already churning – and this latest rumor is definitely a good one.

The latest rumor is that Sony is looking to create an all-female team based on character in the Spider-Verse. According to Splash Report, an unnamed source said that Sony will be paying attention to the success of Wonder Woman because they want to set up an all-female Spider-Verse film.

The report mentioned that Silver and Black would end with Silver Sable stepping into the Nick Fury role of the MCU and recruit Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman), Charlotte Witter (Stunner), Sarah Ehret (Jackpot) and Cassie St. Commons (Dusk).

  1. I know this is wishin on a star (a distant one at that) but maaaaan can we get a Storm or even a Vixen movie?? Geez must be too much like right smh…I know Vixen got the animated look (even though most of it was previously released stuff) but they can pull off a live joint for either of these characters (breathe) ok i’m done ranting…peace & blessings all…
