Official Trailer For Season 2 of AMC’s ‘Preacher’ Has Arrived
If you’re a fan of AMC’s hit show Preacher, you know that the first episode of season 2 is set to return this month on June 25 at 10pm EST with it’s second episode to air the next day on it’s regular time slot of Mondays at 9pm. Well, to get you more hyped for it’s return, an official trailer has just been released for your viewing pleasure. Based on the description of the trailer from the AMC YouTube page “Jesse (Dominic Cooper), Tulip (Oscar nominee Ruth Negga), and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) are on a mayhem-filled road trip to find God — but Hell, Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish), is coming after them.”
From what we can tell from the trailer, season 2 shows to be set in New Orleans and will be bringing viewers more violence, supernatural, and just straight fun humor along the way. Key points that have made the comic what it’s known for. If you’re not familiar with the show, make sure to catch up on Season 1 on the amc.com.
Preacher is based on the Vertigo comic of the same name by Garth Ennis and the late Steve Dillon. It follows Jesse Custer, who is a preacher with the abilities to make people do has he says with just a word. He is looking for God who has left Heaven and is wondering the Earth. Joining Jessie’s company along the way is his ex-girlfriend Tulip and Irish vampire Cassidy.
