In 2013 Justin Zagri, director and producer, gave us the movie The Greater Good which featured the epic duel between Dumbledore and Grindewald that ended up with Ariana´s death, Dumbledore’s sister.
Two years later, in 2015, he released his second short film: Snape and the Marauders, a film that told the story of how the Marauders, after graduation, follow Snape, believing his involved with the Dark Lord and is now a Death Eater.
This year, after great support from the Harry Potter fandom, Zagri released his third film of the Harry Potter universe, now focused on the life of a young Tom Riddle in Hogwarts and his path to became the Dark Lord.
The story follows Grisha Mac Laggen (heir to Griffindor and original character to this film), who suspects trouble when Hepzibah Smith, a descendant of the Hufflepuff family, was found murdered by her house elf. Laggen suspects that there’s dark magic at play, and she believes that Tom Marvolo Riddle is involved somehow after hearing the rumors about him.
The movie is still filming, set to be released in the fall of 2017.
