These trademarks could cover any endeavors a company is looking to manufacture, with the exception of comic books, according to ComicBook.com, who made this discovery.
One trademark covers “downloadable electronic publications, downloadable game software, downloadable mobile applications, consumer electronics and accessories therefor.”
This trademark suggests that the “Marvel Rising” initiative may be a video game, specifically a mobile game. The other trademarks could be Marvel planning for any possible merchandise they may release to support and tie in with the “Marvel Rising” title.
The last time Marvel engaged in such a through trademarking process, was with the newly popular Squirrel Girl, who will be featured in New Warriors.
